Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We talked to him about his role in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the ways in which he makes a distinction at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your group. A. We own 9 backend search services that are core to the company's success. One of the most crucial is the Search API, which powers results on the Search engine result page. Our tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We likewise work carefully with the Machine Learning team to bring AI-driven features to the consumer experience, such as search relevancy enhancements and AI-powered search. We're a collective, friendly group that focuses on strong onboarding and constant support. New team members are directed through the ramp-up process up until they're positive taking full ownership of their work. Each employee is practical to other team members when dealing with challenges.
