  What is the MLS?
  
  The Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is a regional database that markets residential or commercial properties for sale to certified genuine estate agents. Each area has an unique MLS that is used by local genuine estate agents and is only available to these agents. Once noted on your local MLS, your residential or commercial property might feed (depending on area) to numerous national property sites, such as Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, Yahoo and more. The direct exposure you get on the MLS is tremendous! (Thousands of real estate representatives through your regional MLS and millions of potential buyers through the web.)
  
  How does the MLS package work?
  
  Once you sign-up for the MLS Package, the listing broker for your location will email you the additional documents needed by the MLS. Once the kinds have actually been submitted back to the listing broker, the residential or commercial property is listed and designated a MLS number. The listing broker will note your residential or commercial property on your regional MLS for 6 months and at that point the service is supplied and there are no refunds.   Will my contact information be published on the MLS and on Realtor.com, Zillow and other public websites?
  
  Your contact phone will be published on the actual MLS. The seller contact information is not permitted on any public website. By default, the listing broker's name and phone number will appear on your MLS listing in addition to the public property websites, such as Realtor.com, Zillow, etc. It will be the listing broker's contact info on the general public sites. FSBO.com, nor the listing broker, have any control over this or where prospective purchaser leads are sent. This is the same no matter which company you list with.
  
  Does the MLS Package include any supplies?
  
  The MLS Package does NOT include any indications or materials. You can see everything that is included for your area using the map above. Click your State on the map for complete details on what is consisted of.

Realtor.com pulls limited info from the MLS and often takes a few days to pull the photo. The listing agent has no control over for how long it requires to feed through to Realtor.com. Also, particular residential or commercial property types will not feed through to all of the websites. Please examine with the listing broker before submitting the MLS paperwork.
  
  Will I be able to maintain control over my listing on Zillow if I note my residential or commercial property in the MLS?
  
  No, as soon as your residential or commercial property is active in the MLS you will not maintain control of your listing on Zillow or any other sites that pull their information from the MLS. This runs out our control as this is an automatic feed from the MLS. Once your are listed in the MLS you are technically no longer a FSBO so your Zillow listing will go from For Sale By Owner to For Sale (with a listing agent).
  
  Can I cancel my MLS listing early?
  
  Yes, you may cancel your MLS listing at anytime during the 6 month listing period, however the in advance listing charge is not refundable or prorated. Before entering into a written listing contract with a certified realty broker, you should ask about whether there are any extra costs charged for early cancellation. Please note - Once the MLS types have been sent back to the listing agent, we are unable to offer refunds.
  
  Can I upgrade my present FSBO.com package to the MLS plan?
  
  Yes, you might upgrade to the . FSBO.com does not keep any credit card details on file. For this reason, you will need to either upgrade online by logging in to your account. Once visited click on "Edit" and after that on "Upgrade my Package". You will be contacted through e-mail by the listing broker within 24 hours of updating with a few extra types that are required by the MLS.
  
  I have purchased the MLS package, what is the next step to get listed on the MLS?
  
  We have referred your info to a certified realty broker who will put your residential or commercial property in the MLS. They will contact you via email within 24 hours to start on the needed MLS types (please ensure to inspect your e-mail and your SPAM folder). Once these types have been sent back to the listing broker for entry into the MLS we are unable to use refunds.
  
  Will my MLS listing feed to Zillow & Trulia?
  
  Most of the times, yes the residential or commercial property will immediately feed to these 2 websites. If your MLS does not comply with these sites then you will need to by hand add your listing. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. It is totally free and just takes a few minutes to do this. Here are the instructions ...
  
  Enter your residential or commercial property address on Zillow. Click the link to view your residential or commercial property details. Next to the map click the button next to "More" that has an arrow pointing down. From there you can "Claim This Home" so you can modify the residential or commercial property information and likewise "Post for sale totally free".
