Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke to him about his function in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) team and the methods which he makes a difference at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your group. A. We own 9 backend search services that are core to the company's success. Among the most important is the Search API, which powers results on the Search results page page. Our tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We also work closely with the Machine Learning team to bring AI-driven functions to the customer experience, such as search relevance improvements and AI-powered search. We're a collaborative, friendly team that focuses on strong onboarding and constant support. New employee are directed through the ramp-up process up until they're positive taking full ownership of their work. Each group member is helpful to other staff member when dealing with obstacles. We value a culture where wins are well known honestly, and obstacles are owned together. We likewise make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person get-togethers, to keep friendship strong. Q. What's your greatest achievement up until now at Realtor.com? A. I'm most happy with the expert growth I have actually attained since signing up with Realtor.com as a Software Engineer over 7.5 years ago.
